GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The Bachelor of Arts Honours in Fashion at FEDISA is a postgraduate programme focused on developing advanced research, analytical and critical thinking skills within the fashion context.

The programme prepares students to engage with fashion as a complex system shaped by social, cultural, economic, and industry dynamics. Through a structured research process, students develop the ability to interrogate key issues across the fashion value chain and translate insights into informed, contextually relevant outcomes.

Emphasis is placed on independent research, critical analysis, and the application of theory to industry contexts. Students are equipped to contribute meaningfully to the fashion sector or to progress into higher-level academic research.

Graduates are prepared for advanced roles within the fashion industry, as well as further study at Master’s and Doctoral levels.
