FEDISA is situated in the CBD of the affluent suburb of Sandton. Filled with the best of Joburg’s bistros and cafés, students are able enjoy the best restaurants a stone throw away from the campus.

With Clipboard Society Café, Crumbs and Cream and 4th Avenue Café in Illovo to Tashas, located at Atholl Square and Nelson Mandela Square as well as Naked Coffee, situated in Sandton City and Morningside.

The campus is situated 100m from one of the most prestigious shopping centres in Africa, Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square.

Sandton City is known as a premier fashion and leisure destination, with an unbelievable selection of local and international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Zara, H&M, Truworths, Mr Price and Old Khaki. Other larger retail complexes close to the campus are Rosebank mall, The Zone, Hyde Park Shopping Centre and Melrose Arch.

CITY CULTURE

FEDISA is in close proximity to Parkhurst, Rosebank and Illovo. Parkhurst is known for its lively high street, 4th Avenue- Filled with coffee roasters, café-bars, restaurants, vintage stores and locally made brands.

The campus is also close to trendy bars such as the Greenhouse Bar, J Rabbit and 86 Public in Illovo and the Keyes Art Mile situated in Rosebank, which hosts First Thursday of every month where you can enjoy contemporary art, live music, DJ sets, poetry, performance art and pop up bars and food stalls.

The Keyes Art Mile has many art galleries to visit such as the Goodman Gallery, Circa and SMAC Gallery.
